The History of England (Part 3): 1337-1453, The Hundred Years' War (MP3 download)

By Andrew Lewis

The dominant feature of 14thand early 15thcentury English history was the lengthy and destructive war with France: the Hundred Years War.  By the time the war began, England had established a representative parliament, but feudal custom still dominated society.  This course examines England’s political history, from 1337 to 1453, to identify the cause, events, and consequences of the war, and their impact on English politics and society.

This course was recorded at the Objectivist Summer Conference 2007 in Telluride, CO.
